Cold Steel is known for producing extremely tough knives. She holds up in the most difficult situations that you can imagine.
Their AK-47 was one of my most hyped and pocket knives in 2007.
I recently got a great price on a Cold Steel AK-47 knife and here are my thoughts.
What I like about the knife:
1. Cold Steel makes two versions of the AK-47. Both have the same dimensions and AUS 8A stainless steel blades.
One version (# 58LAK) has ablackened on the blade and aluminum handle. The other (# 58LAKB) has a black Teflon coated blade with G-10 scales on the handle.
2. With a blade length of 3.5 inches, Cold Steel AK-47 is large enough to give you strong cutting capacity, but small enough to be performed legally almost everywhere.
3. Each AK-47 fully comes with a prominent knob at the end of the handle. This can be as self-defense tool or a glass crusher in emergency situations.
4. You canturn on the pocket clip from one side to another. This is a big plus for left-handed all my friends out there.
5. Both Cold Steel AK-47 are equipped with the Ultra-Lock mechanism. This style of lock has been tested to hold well over 100 pounds of direct pressure.
6. The blades are hollow ground to a razor thin margin. This feature gives you the opportunity to compare the precise cuts possible.
There is also a more comprehensive or "blood groove" on the blade, which helps to illuminateit.
7. The AK-47 has a fast open tab on the blade. The tab catches on the bag and leave the door open the blade quickly.
What I dislike:
1. I did not complain much about this knife. I want half-or fully show that 47 AK-serrated knife into the future, but too.
Overall:
The Cold Steel AK-47 is worth every penny. I wear my almost every day and it is quickly proving to be trueWorkhorse.
