For more efficient renewable energy, could we do a better job of recharging the power batteries of the small electric cars while they are being driven? Currently, a distance range from 30-to-200-miles, depending on the battery types, is the limit for driving certain small electric cars around town or on the highway before they must be parked and slowly recharged overnight. This relatively short distance range does indeed allow a driver 1) to run errands, 2) to commute to work and make back in one day, and 3) the short motorway journeys - but not much more than that.
The question is - will work auxiliary generators that while driving the help of these batteries to recharge? If so, this renewal process to be similar, as the generators for gasoline engines of its 12-volt battery is charged during the execution of the electrical circuits at the same time. But the mechanisms are different. So are the type of generator to charge batteries on the powerElectric cars in motion?
At least three approaches exist for an electric car in motion.
1st wheel generators. The addition of relatively large smooth light generators to the wheels or axles of the vehicle, particularly those on the back if the car has a front wheel drive. This bike-powered generators will contribute to the power to recharge batteries, or they are current to the motor car itself add.
2nd Wind Generators. ThisGenerator is not a windmill type sits on top of the car. This idea is ridiculous. :) Rather, it is a fairly large cage transversely under the hood fan installed in parallel to a front-wheel drive motor. At each end of the axis is a smooth rotating generator that will do the same things as the wheel on generators.
This arrangement is possible because the electric motor is much smaller than a gasoline book. Thus, a typical automotive front-end ishave more room under the hood when the batteries are bulky and power of the electronic speed control is located elsewhere. Also, the radiator cooling system and in some cases, transmission is no longer required for an electric car, so, so that more space under the hood.
3rd Self-feeding generator. The addition of a powerful generator to the electric motor. If the car moves a pretty good speed, that is, when turning the electric motor is ratherquickly will help, you load the generator power batteries, or it will feed electricity back into the engine itself.
An obvious problem with these generators are the different speeds occurring at different speeds, the ruler of the cars themselves so they are best on the highways to relatively stable as a car speeds on the busy stop-and-go city streets. This requirement means continuous movement of these generators will only operate after the car has reachedcertain preset speeds. Of course, the automotive engineers need to work the details of these concepts together with their costs. After all, they are just thoughts.
